Job DescriptionJob Description

Hoxton Circle is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Consultant to support a positive human resource team with an ad hoc project on a part-time basis.

DETAILS

  • Hourly rate is $40-$50/hr
  • Extremely flexible, part-time schedule (15-20 hours/ week and can select days/ times between 8-5 that you want to work)
  • Strictly a contract role that will last until the end of the year

Responsibilities:

  • Employee Inquiries: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, addressing questions related to HR policies, benefits, and company procedures in a timely and professional manner.
  • Hiring Process: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to successfully integrate into the company.
  • Termination Procedures: Process hiring and termination paperwork, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with company policies.
  • Training Coordination: Assist in scheduling and organizing training sessions for employees, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records.
  • HR Administration: Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Compliance: Support compliance efforts by staying informed about labor laws and regulations and assisting in maintaining HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Work equivalency will suffice as a degree is not required
  • Experience: At least three years of previous experience in human resources is required
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer service orientation.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR software and systems is a plus.
