We are currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. This is an in-person role working onsite at our office in Lakewood, WA. This full-time position will have benefits and an hourly pay range of $26-$30, working 30-38 hours per week. There is some flexibility in start/stop times within normal business hours.

The HR Coordinator will support several HR-related and administrative functions, including recruiting, training, payroll, benefits, performance management, employee relations, safety, and worker's compensation. This opportunity is excellent for someone who wants to gain HR-related experience with exposure to all the facets of an HR role. Additionally, this person will complete administrative tasks for the President and Director of Business Development.

This person will also interact with employees at every level. There is some fun stuff, too. They coordinate employee events and initiatives, helping with parties, potlucks, and catered events.

We are looking for a resourceful self-starter who excels at problem-solving. Successful candidates will have a knack for using advanced applications in Microsoft Excel and advanced Microsoft Word experience, including formatting, indexing, and mail merge. This person must understand database concepts, queries, and data analysis in a web-based HRIS solution.

We prefer the person filling this role to be familiar with cloud-based filing systems and tools such as Dropbox and SharePoint. The best candidates will possess excellent writing skills in policy authoring and email communication. They will not shy away from diving in and figuring things out when faced with a new challenge.

This role will also be able to help with other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

At least one year of human resources-related task experience.

Advanced Excel skills.

Advanced Microsoft Word skills.

Experience using OneNote, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Familiarity with Paylocity HRIS systems and reporting is preferred.
