Overview:

The Operations Services team is looking for an Operations Services Specialist to assist in the operation of the credit union branches, operations services, virtual services, and member service areas. This role requires the ability to provide feedback to management to assist with process improvements and efficiencies within the department. In addition, this Specialist must effectively estimate and manage time spent on a variety of tasks. Importantly, they will provide effective estimation and management of time spent on a variety of tasks. Requires communication with ease across all levels of management, peers, teams and departments. Ensures and maintains regulatory compliance and adheres to all Credit Union policies and procedures.


What You Will Do:

1. Team member models behaviors that align with the Core Values of Premier America Credit Union (the Credit Union).


2. Performs assigned department and related support functions.

a. Assist in reviewing of Mobile/ATM deposits and completes necessary adjustments, to include returns, holds, other adjustments and escalations to FIU department for further review.

b. Responsible for processing requests from internal departments in a timely manner, i.e., check copies, statement copies, account type changes, fee reversals etc.

c. Complete daily remittance processing.

d. Complete Manual Posting (i.e., items unable to be processed through remittance due to missed information, research, or special instructions).

e. Responsible for scanning and indexing all member documents as requested from branches and internal departments into Onbase.

f. Process and complete dormancy releases.

g. Responsible for processing incoming mail requests such as account closures, deposits, and loan payments.

h. Process loan payoffs and send appropriate documents to lending department.

i. Assist with reviewing Verification of Deposit (VOD) requests, to include performing validity assessments.

j. Process incentive posting for branches (i.e., Refer a Friend)

k. Process ACH Originations requests

l. Assist with Operations Services Help Desk calls.


3. Establishes and maintains effective communication and coordination with Credit Union staff.

a. Responds to internal inquiries and maintenance requests (e.g., answers emails, phone calls and service events).

b. Communicates with team members as needed to complete service requests.

c. Maintains a high degree of integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy of information.


4. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

a. Completes assigned special projects.

b. Ensures work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.

c. Attendance and punctuality are within acceptable standards.

d. Available to work during the Credit Union’s core business hours.

Requirements:

What We Are Looking For:

· High school graduate or equivalent.

· General knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and policies.

· 1 year minimum of back office banking experience or two years teller experience.

· Good communication and public relations skills.

· Ability to work well under pressure.

· Ability to use a personal computer and related software applications. including Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Solid math skills and bookkeeping abilities.

Pay Grade Info:

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State. We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.

The base pay range for this position is: $20 - $25 / hourly
