Job Responsibilities:
As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of our dealership. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Corporate Collaboration: Successfully partnering with company corporate administration and management of dealerships.
  • Leadership: Inspire and lead our dealership team to achieve sales and profitability goals while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Under the guidance of the Director of Variable Operations, overseeing daily dealership operations, ensuring efficient processes and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales, market share, and customer retention.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor employees to foster a positive and high-performing work environment.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain exceptional customer service standards and resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, implement cost-control measures, collaborate successfully with the Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years Proven Experience as a General Sales Manager in the automotive industry - Required
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive sales and service operations.
  • Financial acumen and the ability to analyze and manage budgets.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Strong computer and phone skills (Internet, Reynolds & Reynolds, CRM, VinSolutions, Autotrader)
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Maintain professional business attire and appearance
  • Self-starter and ability to be a great team player
  • Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance
  • Resume must be uploaded, and application questionnaire must be completed for immediate consideration.
  • Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
  • Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
