About Us:
American Dental Companies is a rapidly growing, doctor-owned dental group based in Phoenix. We specialize in supporting private dental practices nationwide with administrative management, allowing them to prioritize exceptional patient care.

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Audit employee time data submitted by various offices and interact with Dental Office Managers as required to verify data and resolve discrepancies
  • Process payroll in a multi-state corporate environment
  • Assist with balancing payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Analyze and respond to inquiries from employees regarding paycheck amounts, deductions, leave accruals, direct deposit, and other concerns
  • Research and gather required documents to set up required tax accounts in new states where companies operate.
  • Pull various payroll reports for creating Journal Entries into Accounting software

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of payroll processing experience in a large, multi-state environment
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or comparable experience
  • Must have experience with multi-state payroll and automated timesheets
  • Proven ability to complete work accurately and with attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks under tight deadlines
  • Strong and proven customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills
