Payroll Specialist

MGA Homecare is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for processing daily, weekly, and biweekly payroll for approximately 1,500 exempt and non-exempt employees.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll for employees, including garnishments, payroll adjustments, reimbursements, per diems, taxes, employee loans, commissions, and client invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
- Review and analyze payroll forms and reports for accuracy and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
- Liaise with field, internal personnel, and interdepartmental staff to resolve payroll issues and inquiries.
- Create payroll data reports for management as needed.
- High School Diploma
- 3 years minimum of experience with payroll/accounting functions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excel experience
- Working knowledge of state and federal payroll tax requirements
