Tueller Counseling Services is a growing provider of mental health services in Southeastern Idaho. We have recently opened our brand-new office in Idaho Falls and are excited to add to our team. At Tueller Counseling, competent professionals work together in providing guidance, support, and skills training to clients to ensure recovery and resiliency. These services enable individuals and families to build and sustain productive, meaningful, and happy lives. We believe in fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment where counselors can grow both personally and professionally.

Job Description:

As a support staff at Tueller Counseling Services, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic support and counseling services to our diverse clientele. You will have the opportunity to work with clients as they come into the office, provide support to our clinical team, as well as improve upon your individual professional skills. Our team-oriented approach ensures that you will have access to ongoing support and professional development, enabling you to thrive in your role and deliver the best care possible to clients. We have multiple shifts for this position within our operating hours (M-Th 8:00am-8:00pm, F 8:00am-6:00pm). Not one person always closes, opens, etc. These shifts will rotate, but typically look the same week to week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients as they enter the office and assist with checking clients in, collecting balances, verifying client information, gathering needed paperwork and other tasks as needed.
  • Answer phones, deliver messages and address any issues that may arise.
  • Scan any documentation received into the EHR accurately.
  • Verify insurance information daily for clients.
  • Call clients and schedule them for various appointment types (intakes, renewals, assessments, recurring appointments, etc.)
  • Monitor counselor schedules by screening for openings and possible client discharges.
  • Handle cancellations by notifying the counselor, completing a cancellation and canceling the appointment on the PM side of the EHR.
  • Check voicemail and address any messages throughout the day.
  • Read and respond to emails daily.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Salary Range:

Support staff can start between $14-$18/hr depending on experience.
