Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

BuzzBallz is seeking a Sales Manager for the business and brand development of all Southern Champion products in the off premise and on-premise channels. This position is primarily responsible for expanding growth and sales within the region as measured by KPI’s and goals. Developing key relationships with beverage industry personnel and the distributors. Also working in collaboration with the VP of Sales to assist the development and growth of existing and new accounts.


Key areas include:

Distributor Management:

• Consistent and continuous presentation of our ten national objectives.

• Monitor progress via distributor scorecards.

• Engage with all levels – sales reps to VP’s.


Customer Development:

• Develop relationships with retail and on-premise accounts to secure and grow placements and bring our brands to life in the marketplace. Continue to service the needs of existing customers.


Market Management:

• Programming and incentives

• Forecasting

• Financial administration

• Expand distribution within existing territory, including competitive research, and meeting/working with the distributor sales teams to develop state business plans.

• Assume the role of market expert in the territory, including the understanding of pricing strategies, incentive opportunities, key events, and critical target consumer influences.

• In charge of creating and presenting yearly budgetary spends and determine ROI on planned programs.

• POS management: proper POS ordering, inventory management, provide distributors with execution guidelines and expectations.

• Distributor incentive creation, management, and measurement.

• Review and approval of local spending via accounting systems.

• Develop and conduct quarterly business reviews with each distributor.

• Provide monthly reporting to sales, VP and each distributor.

• Conduct monthly competitive price reports.

• Conduct at least 30 account surveys per month.

• Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

• At least 15 years’ experience in the alcohol beverage industry, beer distributor experience preferred.

• Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the alcohol or beverage industry.

• Strong understanding of market dynamics, trends, and competition.

• Nielsen, IRI, VIP literate.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, which may be a combination of daily and overnight travel.

• The successful candidate will reside in the Eastern region, specifically New York or Pennsylvania.
