We are seeking a dynamic Director of Manufacturing to lead our production facility, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and safety.

Position Overview:

The Director of Manufacturing will oversee all aspects of our production facility. This role involves strategic planning, team management, process optimization, and hands-on problem-solving to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a pivotal figure in driving our production capabilities forward, embracing innovative techniques, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role must bring energy and camaraderie to a fast-paced organization. Culture building & strong leadership skills are important to this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team. Ensure a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals. Plan and oversee the production schedule to meet customer demands and deadlines.
  • Process Improvement: Continually assess and optimize production processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to minimize waste and maximize productivity.
  • Quality Control: Uphold the highest standards of quality for all screen printing outputs. Establish and monitor quality control systems to meet and exceed industry standards.
  • Equipment and Technology Management: Oversee the maintenance, upgrading, and expansion of production equipment and technology. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in screen printing technology and techniques.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations and best practices. Promote a culture of safety first across the production facility.
  • Cost Management: Manage production budgets and costs effectively, aiming for cost reduction while maintaining product quality and on-time delivery.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Increase operational efficiency through creating dynamic reports.
  • Warehouse Management & Inventory Control: Have a firm understanding of basic inventory controls and processes. This role will oversee an implementation of new technology into the business.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in product customization or made-to-order manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing technology, processes, and materials.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to create and manage reports to make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and technology forward thinker. Tech does not scare you
