The University of Illinois - Urbana-Champaign is seeking a highly skilled Visiting MTAC Enrollment Coordinator-OMI to join our team. This is a full-time, 12-month Academic Professional position.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the completion of certification and annual recertification reviews for mental health providers seeking to qualify as Medicaid enrolled Behavioral Health Clinics (BHCs).
- Work with statewide Medicaid enrollment Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) to annually assess their qualifications to provide Subspecialty mental health services.
- Utilize knowledge and experience in Medicaid behavioral health practice and policy to ensure behavioral health service providers, their staff, and programs meet specific state requirements.
- Supervise the work of IMPACT Compliance Specialists and collaborate with the Office of Medicaid Innovation and the Assistant Director of Training Development and Operations to build systems that support the on-going development of a robust compliance program.
- Manage staff, including training, supervising, and coaching IMPACT Compliance Specialists, and providing feedback to improve messaging to providers.
- Design, implement, and manage certification and annual recertification application processes, utilizing the HFS IMPACT system.
- Implement date tracking to identify providers who are outside of normal time parameters and annual certification and recertification dates to ensure timely reviews.
- Design, implement, and manage a tracking system to maintain timely documentation for all statewide providers.
- Maintain email, phone, and in-person communications with statewide providers for technical, procedural, and policy support related to certification and recertification.
- Master's degree in social work or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Three years of Behavioral Health Services (Clinical) supervisory/management experience.
- Preferred: Five years of Behavioral Health Services (Clinical) supervisory/management experience and 3 years or more working in a community mental health setting.
- Illinois clinical licensure and LPHA status pursuant to 89 ILAC.
