At Vancrest of Urbana, Inc., we prioritize the dining experience, ensuring that each resident enjoys nutritious and delicious meals tailored to their dietary needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review meal plans in accordance with dietary requirements.
- Verify that special diet trays are accurately assembled.
- Complete necessary documentation and reports for the Director of Food Services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless dietary service.
- Work alongside the facility's Dietician and other Supervisors to implement dietary recommendations.
- Adhere to established dietary procedures and policies.
- Assist in the setup of food service production to ensure timely meal preparation.
- Process dietary changes as communicated by Nursing Services and approved by the Director of Food Services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including dishwashing and ensuring utensils are ready for use.
- Support inventory management and storage of incoming food and supplies.
- Report to the Dietary Manager for supervision and guidance.
