Job Description: As a Cashier/Customer Service Representative at Global Partners, you will be responsible for handling sales transactions, assisting customers, and supporting various aspects of store operations. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, managing the cash register, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, inquiries, and concerns.
- Provide detailed information about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or issues with professionalism and empathy.
Sales Transactions:
- Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions including cash, credit, and debit payments.
- Issue receipts, handle returns and exchanges, and provide accurate change.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
Store Operations:
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or low stock items to management.
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Team Collaboration:
- Work effectively with team members to achieve store goals and provide excellent service.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on store procedures and company policies.
- Support colleagues in various tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or as a cashier is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
