Employment Opportunity:


Our company is seeking a Human Resources Generalist/Office Manager who has vast experience in employee relations and general office management to join our team. The HR Generalist/Office Manager will play a key role in managing the daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, terminations and compliance with labor laws. Additional tasks include providing exceptional customer service and responding to customer questions or concerns over the phone, managing sales pipelines, answering phones, implementing general sales and operations policies and assisting in overall supervision of the office's needs. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, organized, a strong communicator, capable to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, onboarding and terminations.
  • Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and answer benefit-related queries.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews and employee development plans.
  • Support training and development initiatives.
  • Assist with general office tasks if needed, such as, answer incoming calls, forward calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, provide basic and accurate information to clients via phone/email, assist clients with making appointments, receive, sort and distribute daily leads/messages to sales agents, as needed.
  • Perform data entry tasks to update customer records and maintain accurate information
  • Manage client pipeline and enter information into CRM software
  • Utilize phone etiquette to ensure positive customer interactions
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve department goals
  • Ensure office area is organized and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g. pens, paper, etc.)

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or a similar role. (Required)
  • Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with management and employees.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess an outgoing and pleasant personality.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Payroll experience - proficiency with ADP is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Monday.com and Forth (fka Debt Pay Pro) is a plus.
  • Spanish-speaking is required.
