JOB SUMMARY

Position Title: Weatherization Intake Specialist

Program: Utility Assistance

Classification: Non-Exempt/Full Time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITIES

  1. Client Intake & Program Implementation: Determine eligibility and enroll participants into weatherization program. Assist with completing necessary documents including income documentation, proof of home ownership or landlord approval, etc. Appropriately manage referral queue from internal and external partners.
  2. Data Management: Accurately document participant eligibility and maintain complete files for program participation. Manage data related to the program, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for all partners. Submit data and files to contracting agency weekly.
  3. Collaboration & Partnership Development: Collaborate closely with CAADC Outreach Coordinator and other CAADC staff as needed. Attend outreach events to promote the program. Cultivate and maintain relationships with other community benefit organizations, local government, etc. to ensure seamless referrals and collaboration to benefit participants.
  4. Continuous Quality & Performance Improvement: Maintain a high level of accuracy in all assigned tasks, actively seeking opportunities for process improvement. Engage in staff meetings and professional development to improve processes and program success.
  5. Customer Service: Provide responsive and courteous support to participants, including handling incoming calls and emails, resolving inquiries, and ensuring participation satisfaction.

**Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS/JOB FACTORS

  • Technology proficiency: you should be able to operate computer systems smoothly, navigate web-based programs with ease, and handle Microsoft Office applications proficiently. You are also open to learning and adapting to new technologies as required.
  • Bilingual – Spanish/English: Fluent in both Spanish and English, ensuring effective communication and assistance in the preferred language of individuals.

Other qualifications to be considered:

  • Able to work independently.
  • Proficient in time management.
  • A valid PA driver’s license must possess a vehicle and be able to travel to various locations throughout Lancaster County. Have valid insurance and full-time use of a vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including occasional nights and weekends based on outreach events schedule, participant needs, etc.
