Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Full-Time Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a vital support to our Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in content creation, scheduling, competitor analysis, and monitoring trends. This position is perfect for an individual passionate about social media and looking to contribute to the online presence of our organization.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

  • Assist in creating engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including text posts, graphics, images, and videos.
  • Collaborate with the social media manager to brainstorm and generate ideas for social media campaigns.

Scheduling and Posting:

  • Schedule posts using social media management tools to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
  • Monitor the posting schedule to avoid conflicts and ensure a diverse mix of content.

Community Engagement:

  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions on social media platforms promptly and professionally.
  • Foster positive interactions with the audience and address any concerns or questions.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor social media analytics to track the performance of posts and campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports to the social media manager, highlighting key metrics and insights.

Research and Trend Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and changes in social media algorithms.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on the latest trends and best practices.

Competitor Analysis:

  • Keep track of competitors' social media activities and identify areas for improvement or innovation.
  • Report findings to the social media manager for strategic planning.

Stay Updated on Platform Changes:

  • Stay informed about updates and changes on social media platforms, ensuring that strategies align with the latest features and guidelines.

Creativity and Innovation:

  • Bring fresh and creative ideas to the table for new campaigns, challenges, or collaborations.
  • Experiment with new content formats to keep the social media presence dynamic and engaging.

Monitoring Trends and Hashtags:

  • Keep an eye on trending topics and hashtags to capitalize on opportunities for increased visibility.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience or strong interest in social media management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Proficient in using Hootsuite or similar tools for managing and scheduling content.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and trends.

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
