Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and passionate Entertainment Social Media Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our social media squad, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging content across our social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a social media content calendar, ensuring all event information is shared with relevant parties and seeking approvals where needed
  • Assist the Content team to develop a consistent brand voice, posting cadence, and engaging concepts for our social media channels
  • Collect content with fans, performers, influencers, and other stakeholders to create engaging social media content
  • Use analytics and data to advise content creation and cadence
  • Assist in social media coverage, including events, arena experiences, and activations as required
  • Help steer the Entertainment Marketing Content & Social strategy and representation on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital outlets
  • Assist in fan engagement and customer service performed via social media by tracking sponsored social media and content campaigns and programs
  • Develop and design graphic and video assets to be pushed out to social platforms, including Reels, TikToks, and memes
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of music and culture, spotting storytelling opportunities and social trends to bring to the team for consideration
  • Conceptualize and implement social-first creative as part of a team to produce ground-breaking content
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media, preferably for an entertainment-focused organization
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Bachelor's/post-secondary degree in Marketing, new/digital media, communications, or related field
  • Shown skills and solid experience in developing a strong brand copywriting
  • Professional experience using all major social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
  • Professional experience in shooting and editing vertical video content (ie. Instagram Reels and TikToks)
  • Professional experience in graphic design, including Adobe Photoshop, video editing, including Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Passionate about a career in the entertainment industry
  • A deep understanding of how to implement and complete a brand voice on social media
  • Strategic thinker, creative storyteller with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of poise, integrity, and professionalism with the ability to prioritize workload and address problems quickly
  • Results-driven with ability to set and deliver on priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industry and department with timelines and ever-evolving projects
Working Conditions:
  • Travel Requirements: Minimal travel during the year
  • Physical Demands: Minimal camera lifting and holding phones for content collection
  • This position generally requires that work be performed from our offices, but attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required
  • This role requires in-person attendance during events but there might be opportunities to work from home
