Kid Central Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY:
If you are administratively gifted and organized, and the idea of working behind the scenes to support the Kid Central team while still making a significant impact on the lives of the kids and families at Central excites you, we would love to talk to you. Kid Central is looking for an admin to join our ministry team.
TIME COMMITMENT: 20-25 hours a week. Must be available on Tuesdays and some Sundays.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the Kid Central email (check, answer & delegate)
- Order supplies needed for curriculum and events
- New volunteer workflow and onboarding volunteers
- Printing lesson pieces, getting things organized for curriculum coordinators
- Writing huddle notes each week
- Writing and sending out family emails each week.
- Some Sundays
- Helping organize special projects and events
- Attend staff meetings - All staff Tuesdays at 9:15 and Kid Central team Tuesdays at 1:30.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Two years of experience in administration is preferred
- Seasoned experience using Google Sweet
- Excellent organizational skills
- Track record with diligence in following through on tasks and projects
- High verbal and written communication skills
- Excels at prioritizing well and anticipating future needs
- Ability to work well with teams
- Have a passion for kids' ministry
- Professing Christian, striving to live a Christian lifestyle, and maintaining daily disciplines of Bible reading and prayer.
