Day to day as a Mobility Management Coordinator

As a Mobility Management Coordinator at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler, you will play a crucial role in coordinating communications and data for various agencies and transportation providers, ensuring seamless access to transportation services for our community members. Your responsibilities will include working closely with transportation providers to understand eligibility criteria and restrictions, providing personalized trip plans, scheduling volunteer drivers, and acting as a liaison for customers requiring transportation services through the Office for the Aging. By answering calls and offering tailored transportation solutions, you will directly impact the lives of veterans, elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and low-income families in Watkins Glen.

To excel as a Mobility Management Coordinator at The Arc of Chemung-Schuyler, you must possess essential skills such as exemplary customer service or call center expertise. Proficiency in working with databases, multitasking on multiline phone systems, and general computer skills are vital for success in this role. Strong communication and organizational abilities are necessary to effectively interact with transportation providers, volunteer drivers, and customers, ensuring the seamless coordination of transportation services.

Your empathetic approach and problem-solving mindset will be invaluable in providing personalized trip plans and assisting individuals in accessing local and regional transportation options in Watkins Glen.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
