Position: Production Manager

Salary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations.
- Oversee the operation of brine wells, boilers, generators, evaporators, and dryers.
- Manage the production department's operating and capital budgets, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and production volume.
- Supervise shift supervisors within the production department.
- Ensure reliability of equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve plant objectives.
- Lead initiatives for production and maintenance coordination.
- Drive enhancements in efficiency and processes.
- Undertake special project assignments as needed.

Accountabilities:
- Participate in the capital budgeting process for the production department and manage the operating budget, including labor, materials, and repairs.
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the department.
- Develop and manage the shift schedule for 24/7 supervisors.
- Analyze operational data, oversee preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Maintain the safety, quality, and legality of all products while ensuring employee adherence to these standards.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety regulations.
- Manage the planning, operation, maintenance, and regulatory reporting of brine wells.
- Perform additional related duties as required.

Operational Performance:
- Monitor and enhance operational performance metrics.

People Management and Development:
- Encourage transparent communication and foster team collaboration.
- Cultivate a culture centered on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Engage the workforce positively and facilitate performance management and employee development.
- Address employee and labor relations issues in collaboration with human resources as necessary.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.

Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in production, technical, or maintenance management roles.
- At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred: 5 years of management experience with a strong understanding of the operational requirements for boilers, evaporators, dryers, generators, and brine wells.
