team as a Business Development/Sales Leader. This is a full-time position with

Summary:

The Development/Sales Leader will lead the growth of sales and product development in the company by conducting market research for products, ensuring quality products are provided, strengthening and growing our customer base, and collaborating with team members and stakeholders.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and emerging trends.
  • Create and execute quarterly and annual business development plans to support company growth goals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
  • Oversee the development and presentation of proposals to potential clients, including pricing and contract negotiations.
  • Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the company and its offerings.
  • Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing accounts.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their expertise and strengths.
  • Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
  • Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest products or services that will meet those needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
  • Basic understanding of marketing and marketing theories is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and opportunities in the business development process.
  • Creative thinking to develop innovative strategies and solutions for business growth.
  • Enthusiasm for the company and its growth potential.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree Business, Business Administration, Sales, or related field required.
  • Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a corporate setting.
  • Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing.


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
