Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior guest service in accordance with department and company standard program.

· Ensures guest service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.

· Alert management when issues do arise.

· Ensure enforcement of game procedures and policies as outlined in company and department manuals and in accordance with internal controls.

· Monitor for compliance.

· Assist with the overall integrity of daily Table Games operations.

· Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

· Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

· Address, resolve, and document all conflicts that may arise during gaming operations.

· Oversee all aspects of gaming activity that transpires on a particular shift.

· Ensure that all Peoria Tribe Gaming Commission regulations, internal controls, Title 31 compliance and standard operating procedures are adhered to.

· Lead team members pre-shifts on a scheduled basis.

· Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily supervision of a designated shift in the Table Games department.

· Provide oversight for all games, game protection and over all operation of the table games on assigned shift.

· Support administers and supervises operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives while reporting to management any areas that need to be focused on be it immediate or long term.

· Monitor chips and cash transactions between dealers and guests and ensure that proper payout amounts are paid to guests.

· Responsible for the accountability of the chips, cards, dice, and all other gaming equipment.

· Verify table inventories and effectively manage table limits.

· Effectively handle guest concerns and requests.

· Assist with responsibility of the overall engagement of all team members on their shift by addressing and managing team member feedback, suggestions, complaints, and grievances.

· Actively build good interdepartmental lines of communication.

· Train and evaluate the performance of Floor Supervisors, Dual Rate Floor Supervisors and Dealers on assigned shift and/or as directed by management.

· Assist with disciplinary measures when needed.

· Implement the operations plan developed by the Casino Operations Manager.

· Enforce departmental and casino policies and procedures.

· Evaluate the play of patrons when necessary and as indicated by procedures.

· Monitor games to ensure house rules are followed.

· Become knowledgeable of signs of cheats and observe patrons for telling behaviors.

· Prepare paperwork for monetary transactions.

· Tactfully resolve guest complaints and render impartial decisions.

· Encourage a positive atmosphere among guests and team members.

· Communicate all departmental issues or concerns to the Casino Operations Manager.

· Instruct patrons on the rules of the games.

· Communicate guest or team member complaints to the Casino Operations Manager.

· Inspect cards and equipment periodically to ensure that they are in good condition.

· Ensure departmental compliance with Title 31 record keeping policies and procedures.

· Become familiar with casino events and promotions in order to inform guests.

· Obtain and maintain a gaming license. Ensure compliance with tip reporting procedures.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education/Qualifications:

· Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.

· Previous blackjack dealing and at least 1 year Table Games supervisory experience required.

· Must be at least 18.

· Requires strong math skills.

Licensing:

· Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License

Work Requirements:

Requires problem solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. Position involves prolonged walking, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds daily. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
