Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting the Barry University Sports Information office staff in event score table activities during scheduled home games, including score book/score sheet, scoreboard, and shot clock.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with setup for athletic events, including soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, softball, and rowing.
  • Provide support during athletic events, operating scoreboard, videoboard, assisting with internet broadcasts, and other game day activities, including statistics, shot clock, and score book.
  • Assist with tickets and concessions at various athletic-related events.
  • Support marketing and social media efforts for athletic-related events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma.
  • Bachelor's degree in Sport Management preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience.
  • General knowledge of volleyball and/or basketball is required.
  • Experience operating digital equipment and score book/score sheet preferred.
