Job Summary:
Edwards Chevrolet 280 is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Parts Counter Rep to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. The Parts Counter Rep will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing the correct automotive parts for their vehicles. This is a full-time, hourly position within the Auto industry and requires previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist technicians at the parts counter in a friendly and professional manner
- Utilize knowledge of automotive parts and systems to accurately identify and locate needed parts
- Recommend and upsell additional products and services as appropriate
- Process orders and payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and organize inventory levels and stock shelves as needed
- Communicate with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a timely manner

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a parts department or automotive repair facility preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented and able to accurately process orders and payments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with computer systems and parts catalogs
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent
