Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Oversight: Monitor and manage a diverse portfolio of venture investments, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and performance metrics.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including market analysis, financial modeling, and competitive assessments.
  • Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic support and guidance to portfolio companies, helping them navigate growth challenges, operational hurdles, and market opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and analyze the performance of portfolio companies, preparing detailed reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and investors.
  • Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other venture capitalists to identify new investment opportunities and enhance portfolio value.
  • Investment Strategy: Contribute to the development and refinement of investment strategies and thesis, ensuring alignment with market trends and firm objectives.
  • Exit Planning: Develop and execute exit strategies for portfolio companies, including IPOs, acquisitions, or other liquidity events.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or a related field. Proven track record of successful investment management and portfolio oversight.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a deep understanding of venture capital and private equity markets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of startup ecosystems, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Familiarity with legal and regulatory aspects of venture capital investments.
  • Attributes: Strategic thinker with a proactive approach, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team player.
