Are you a friendly problem solver who can deliver a five-star experience to our guests? Then you might be perfect for the maintenance engineer role at our cabin rental resort. You will be responsible for supervising and/or completing the property's complete maintenance and routine processes to make it fully functional, enjoyable, and safe. Our ideal candidate works well with a team or independently.

Compensation:

$22 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff
  • Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
  • Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures
  • Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria
  • Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly

  • Maintain the grounds with your team and appropriate use of outside contractors
  • Assist in budgeting and strategy for the Maintenance Department for the year
  • Build and maintain preventative maintenance schedules
  • Project-based infrastructure improvements
Qualifications:
  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance
  • You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary

  • Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry and grounds maintenance required
  • Hot tub maintenance experience preferred
