Key Responsibilities
  • Property Maintenance: Diagnose and repair major appliances, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, general carpentry, pool care, roof, and gutter repairs.
  • Landscaping and Snow Removal: Address issues related to landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers, even in difficult situations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our residents and colleagues.
  • Service Requests: Complete service requests promptly and accurately.
  • Technical Skills: Operate computers and other technological devices to access company software and perform tasks.
  • Elmington's Non-Negotiables: Successfully execute Elmington's non-negotiables related to service work orders and vacant unit turns.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of property maintenance and/or maintenance experience.
  • Certifications: EPA/HVAC/CPO certification preferred/required.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills.
  • Physical Condition: Maintain the physical condition of the property.
  • Tools and Equipment: Utilize hand tools and power tools.
  • Building Maintenance: Perform building maintenance and repairs.
  • Availability: Respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Timekeeping: Accurately report all time worked by clocking in before beginning to work and out only when done working.
  • Company Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures.
