They will use their understanding of B2B marketing principles to effectively write and edit engaging and creative copy for a variety of marketing, advertising, press, and social channels, contributing to the overall success of our content marketing strategy. 

This full-time position will report to the Manager of Content and will support the Content team within RXNT’s Marketing department. This is an exciting opportunity to develop content writing experience in the healthcare technology industry alongside a collaborative, ambitious team. Candidates for this role will be expected to gain and maintain a high-level understanding of the healthcare industry and how RXNT’s complex software systems fit within it. Note: The Marketing department currently works in a hybrid capacity, periodically meeting in-office at our Annapolis headquarters. However, this position is open to fully remote candidates who are located in the USA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write compelling long and short-form content, including blog articles, press releases, social media posts, video scripts, landing pages, web ads, newsletters, email campaigns, product announcements, internal communications, and more. 
  • Own our content distribution workflow by publishing content via WordPress, Hubspot, and various social media platforms.
  • Manage our social media accounts and create strategies for their growth.
  • Coordinate our internal and external newsletters with associated research, interviews, and writing.
  • Review web traffic, SEO metrics, and other content analytics to generate actionable insights.
  • Keep assets organized via Google Drive and our task management system, Wrike.

Skills, Knowledge, & ExpertiseOur Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong storyteller with an editorial approach to content writing
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks at once
  • Understanding of the B2B, SaaS, and/or healthcare marketing landscape
  • Knowledge of WordPress or a comparable content management system
  • Comfortable providing and receiving feedback on a collaborative team
  • Takes ownership and tackles projects independently when needed
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of full-time experience in B2B content marketing, content writing, copywriting, or a comparable combination of marketing/writing experience.
  • A portfolio of long and short-form writing that displays strong editorial storytelling skills, customer-oriented thinking, and knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with WordPress or extensive experience in a similar content management system, plus experience publishing social media content in-platform or via content scheduling tools.
  • Strong verbal communication and experience interviewing customers, executives, and subject matter experts to inform your writing, or other related interviewing experience (e.g. reporting).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including experience with a team-based task management tool like Wrike, monday.com, Asana, or Airtable.
  • Ability to successfully balance and integrate feedback from a variety of stakeholders into your written work.
  • Effective at communicating and collaborating in a hybrid/remote dynamic via email, video conferencing, and messaging platforms like Slack.
Bonus:
  • Bachelor's degree in a writing-oriented field such as English, Creative Writing, Journalism, etc., or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of marketing for health tech/healthcare software, or prior direct experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience reviewing web traffic and SEO data using Semrush, Ahrefs, or other analytics software.
  • Familiarity with creating email marketing campaigns using Hubspot or a similar tool.
