Commercial Property Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA 94111

Pay: $110-120k, depending on experience


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a prestigious Class A office building in San Francisco for one of our clients, a growing commercial real estate firm. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial property management, exceptional communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding tenant services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of property management, including maintenance, security, and tenant services.
    • Ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards, including managing preventative maintenance and regular inspections.
    • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
  • Tenant Relations:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
    • Facilitate effective communication between tenants and the property management team.
    • Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage the annual operating budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Monitor and control expenses, ensuring they align with the budget.
    • Collect rent and other charges, ensuring timely payment and addressing any delinquencies.
  • Lease Administration:
    • Oversee lease administration, including lease renewals, amendments, and compliance with lease terms.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lease records and files.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare regular reports on property performance, including financial reports, occupancy rates, and maintenance activities.
    • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all property management activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes affecting commercial property management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field, preferred
  • Real estate license, or intention to complete within 6 months of starting role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property management with Class A office buildings
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
