General Responsibilities
- Represent Catholic Charities at outreach and community events/meetings.
- Coordinate in-kind donations, out-of-agency fundraisers/drives, and Undy Sunday.
- Conduct outreach at all Catholic Charities Mobile Food Pantry distributions.
- Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position.
Essential Functions
- Represent the Agency at functions and meetings, including but not limited to the local Chamber of Commerce meetings/events, church events/meetings (St. Vincent de Paul, CCW, Men’s Clubs, etc.), school boards, finance boards, civic club meetings, etc.
- Attend all Agency fundraising events and actively engage participants, especially those to whom they are assigned.
- Organize, consult, and advise donors on developing and implementing events and projects that benefit the Agency, including fundraisers, donation drives, etc.
- Demonstrate a high comfort level working with staff, volunteers, and donors.
- Develop and maintain relationships with in-kind donors.
- Cultivate and engage new donors and volunteers.
- Ensure that all in-kind donations are accepted, processed, documented, and distributed according to Agency standards.
- Conduct outreach at Mobile Food Pantry distributions and serve as the onsite Mobile Food Pantry manager when necessary.
- Meet regularly with the Division Director of Communications and Advancement concerning outreach and in-kind donations.
- Comply with the department's applicable sections of all accreditation standards.

- A Bachelor's degree in community relations, communications, social work, or another related field preferred; or equivalent work experience. All degrees must come from a regionally accredited educational institution with US Department of Education approval.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nonprofit work experience.
- Skilled, enthusiastic, and resourceful public speaker who demonstrates the ability to easily engage with stakeholders.
- Exceptional communicator with excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key individuals for the benefit of the Agency.
- Results-driven, creative individual with proven capability to work independently in an organized, detail-oriented, and efficient manner in a multi-task, fast-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to relate positively to other staff and outside contacts, including donors, clients, and volunteers, in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Passage of complete background clearance and physical.
- A valid driver's license, reliable means of transportation, and proof of liability insurance are required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
