Evans Consulting is hiring a Leadership and Organizational Development Manager to support a federal client in Washington, DC. You will serve as a team lead, including project and people management functions, and act as a primary client liaison serving as a strategic advisor. This role entails management of multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment including designing and facilitating leadership meetings. We are looking for someone who is passionate around facilitating organizational collaboration, communications and strengthening organizational capacity.
- Act as a project and people leader overseeing quality control and strong team performance.
- Design and facilitate meetings and workshops for effective outcomes.
- Act as a trusted liaison to senior leadership while supporting project operations.
- Foster and execute employee and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Serve as a strategic advisor.
- Assist in creating targeted messages and content for presentations, workshops, and other communication approaches.
- Provide leadership for organizational design evolutions and implementation of changes.
- Support change initiatives by facilitating communication and engagement with stakeholders.
- Supporting the communications team on projects while overseeing communications initiatives.
- A Bachelor’s Degree plus at least 12 years of experience is required. A Master’s Degree may substitute for three years of experience.
- Experience with facilitation, organization development, stakeholder engagement, and communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with organizational design or re-design is a plus.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and an ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Creativity and innovation in problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Remain proactive and responsive while supporting project functions.
- Ability to work with little supervision and to support management, including executive levels.
- Certification in leadership development, project management, or facilitation is a plus.
- Certification or experience with coaching and assessments including DISC, CliftonStrengths, Core Clarity, and other work style assessments is a plus.
- Experience working in a strategic role with management/leadership teams is a plus.

Compensation
Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Evans’s total compensation package for employees.
