Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Large Jobsite IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This position is essential for providing top-notch technical support to our employees across district offices, satellite offices, and job sites. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a customer-friendly attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Description:
  • Provide technical assistance and support for desktop, laptop, and mobile device-related issues to employees at job sites.
  • Maintain strong technical expertise in various hardware, software, and networking systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Desktops, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Autodesk applications.
  • Recognize patterns in technical issues and escalate them to the System Administrator, LAN/WAN Administrator, or Application Development Team for root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Collaborate with Office/Project Managers to ensure security groups for Vista, M-Files, and File Shares are current and accurate semi-annually.
  • Verify Internet speeds to ensure they are consistent with contracted ISP speeds.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of computers and tablets to confirm correct employee assignments in M-Files.
  • Identify and properly decommission computers and equipment that have reached the end of life.
  • Ensure the security and camera systems are functioning correctly and comply with MMR standards for IoT devices.
  • Verify the proper functioning of phones, including correct Caller ID, DID, and Softkey menu displays.
  • Assist Project/Office Managers in adhering to IT standards and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of hardware, software, and networking systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience and a customer-friendly attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Training and experience with Windows Desktops, Microsoft Office, and Adobe applications.
  • A+ or Network+ Certification is required.
  • Cisco and/or Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license required upon employment offer.
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is required.
