Extremely Rare Auto Sales Representative opening is now available with Sunset Cadillac of Bradenton, a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of dealerships with 10 brands at 10 locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

How rare? We have not run a sales representative job ad in 3 years This is because we have some of the longest tenured employees and managers in any automotive group. In fact, we are only looking now because we recently remodeled and expanded our sales department. Automotive Sales Representative Duties

As an Auto Sales Associate, you will be directly responsible for selling new and used vehicles by appointment and to walk-in prospects. You will assist customers throughout every stage of their auto purchase and ensure that they find the vehicle that is right for them.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Demonstrating an understanding that business is built on excellent customer satisfaction and being committed to providing first-rate customer service
  • Consulting with customers to determine their wants and needs in a new or used vehicle
  • Ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
  • Conducting price negotiations on vehicles
  • Maintaining an excellent knowledge of new products, features and accessories available, and explaining their benefits to customers
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business

Auto Sales Associate Requirements

As an Automotive Sales Representative, you must embody Sunset Automotive Group's stellar community reputation of honesty, integrity and superior customer service. We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, approachable individuals who enjoy working in a fast paced environment where every day brings new challenges.

The ideal Automotive Sales Representative will also have:

  • Proven track record in automotive sales
  • Willingness to work on commission
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships to ensure repeat customers
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and follow-through skills
  • Valid driver's license and verifiable work history
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong English skills, bilingual skills helpful
