Paid Canvass Manager: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Paid Canvass Manager to lead our grassroots voter registration outreach efforts. As a Paid Canvass Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the voter registration process, ensuring that canvassers seek eligible individuals to exercise their right to vote. This position is integral to our mission of promoting civic engagement and democratic participation.  

You will play a key role in managing canvassers and mobilizing our supporters. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of canvassers to conduct voter registration collection at various community events, public spaces and door-to-door outreach. 

  • Develop and implement canvassing strategies to effectively reach target demographics and achieve campaign goals. 

  • Monitor and evaluate canvassing performance, providing regular feedback and support to team members. 

  • Collaborate with campaign leadership to align canvassing efforts with overall campaign objectives. 

  • Maintain accurate records of voter registration forms. 

  • Engage with community members to build support for the campaign and gather valuable feedback. 

  • Verify the eligibility of individuals based on state and local voting regulations.  

  • Maintain organized records of voter registration activities, including the number of registrations collected and any issues encountered.  

  •  Collaborate with community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to promote voter registration initiatives.  

  • Stay informed about changes in voter registration laws and requirements to provide accurate and up-to-date information to the public. 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in political canvassing, community organizing, or related field. 

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and goals. 

  • Familiarity with voter databases and canvassing software is a plus. 

  • Passion for the campaign's mission and dedication to making a difference in the community.
