Bank Midwest is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant/Human Resources Specialist.

  • Responsibilities / Duties:
    • Provide administrative and corporate governance support to the CEO, Board Chair, and Chief Human Resources Officer. Also provide support to the Executive Leaders as needed.
    • Process payroll with support of the HR team.
    • Provide guidance and training to new hires on various bank systems.
    • Coordinate Job Postings for the recruiting, selection, and hiring process.
    • Compile annual data tracking for external processing of the company Affirmative Action Plan.
    • Complete Minnesota Dept. of Human Rights Annual Compliance Report.
    • Complete various Compensation and Benefits Surveys (IBA, MBA).
    • Conduct benefits consultations with new hires.
    • Administration of Compensation Committee materials and be back-up to the Bank Midwest Board Secretary.
  • Competencies
    • Strong accounting or financial skills.
    • Professional demeanor and ability to handle sensitive information a must.
    • Strong self-motivation, relationship-building, and customer focus.
  • Qualifications
    • High School Diploma.
    • Two-year college degree preferred.
    • Requires a minimum of five years administrative or related professional experience within a corporate environment.
