Windom Area Health is seeking a motivated Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator to join our growing and patient driven team. This full time opportunity is the main contact for managers and employees related to payroll, timecard, and benefit questions. Creates regular and ad hoc reports for both HR and accounting purposes. Administers and promotes a comprehensive benefit package for employees, taking the lead in the annual open enrollment process. Files governmental filings and payroll taxes, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations. Takes part in the onboarding and recruiting process. Advanced Excel skills a must, along with being highly detail oriented and analytical. An associates degree in business, accounting, HR, or related field required, bachelors degree preferred. At least 2+ yrs experience in payroll and HR functions is required.
About Windom Area Health
Windom Area Health (WAH) is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Windom, MN. The hospital serves Windom, Mt. Lake and the surrounding areas. Windom Area Health provides specialty outreach services on a regular basis including cardiology, hematology/oncology, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pulmonology, urology and occupational/speech/physical therapies. Emergency room, laboratory and imaging services are also available 24 hours a day.
Our mission is “Dedicated to Health”, which directs our decision making and services on a daily basis. We have a management agreement with Sanford Health and are owned by the City of Windom.
