Responsibilities
As a Home Care Clinical Supervisor RN, you will plan and work with the Clinical Director and Branch Director to coordinate, provide and evaluate home care services focused on the patients' individual needs. This role provides direct patient care in the home and involves supervising the field staff for home care and private duty.

Additional responsibilities:
  • The Home Care Clinical Supervisor RN accomplishes clients' care by assessing treatment needs; developing, monitoring, and evaluating treatment plans and progress; coordinating services and discharge planning.
  • Providing direct patient care
  • Completing client admission and pre-admission visits
  • Ensuring compliance with agency’s policies and local, state and federal laws and regulations
  • Complying with agency time frames for paperwork completion and submission
  • Completing required paperwork for insurance reimbursement and clinical record documentation
  • Evaluating and conferring with staff regarding performance
  • The schedule and hours for this position will vary and will include some weekends
  • Representing the agency in the community

Qualifications

Specific requirements
  • Current unencumbered RN License in Nevada
  • 3 years of current nursing experience as an RN
  • 1+ years of experience in home care
  • Knowledge of home health care regulations
  • Knowledge of insurance and reimbursement criteria for home care services
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Ventilator and trach experience strongly preferred
  • Infusion skills preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree from a college accredited by the National League of Nursing preferred
