Nuvia Dental Implant Center is the industry leading expert on Permanent Teeth delivered to the patient within 24 hours. We are looking for an experience Payroll Coordinator to assist in providing best in class companywide payroll support.As a Payroll Coordinator you have a crucial role in the success of Nuvia. You are responsible for supporting the Payroll process for all Nuvia SML MKRs and contractors.

 

We are looking for a Payroll Coordinator to process payroll transactions in our company. The Nuvia Payroll Coordinator responsibilities include processing timesheets, updating payroll records and answering employee questions about payments. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll. This position demands meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Moreover, the coordinator handles highly sensitive and confidential information, while also collaborating seamlessly with HR, finance, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Ultimately, you’ll ensure employees are compensated correctly and on time. Hours are full time, Monday-Friday 40hrs a week, Hourly wages $23-24 DOE this will be a remote/hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly examine and confirm timesheets, attendance records, and other pertinent documents to ensure precision and adherence to company policies and legal obligations.
  • Coordinate with HR about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires)
  • Oversee electronic payments and distribution of payroll checks
  • Process other financial compensations or deductions (e.g. annual bonuses, severance pay, taxes, worker’s compensation)
  • Handle benefit expenses, like insurance fees or paid leave
  • Produce reports to upper management upon request
  • Answer employee questions or complaints about salaries and payments
  • Assist Payroll Manager with all payroll processing duties
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure that any changes to employee information, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments, are properly and promptly reflected in the payroll system.


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience processing payroll as a payroll coordinator or similar role 
  • Good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll (such as FLSA)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and problems.
  • Working knowledge of payroll systems (e.g. Kronos, UKG, ADP, Paylocity)
  • Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets (functions, data etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and leadership.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • Degree in accounting, finance field or equivalent experience preferred
