This role involves ensuring that the parts department operates efficiently, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and meeting the needs of both service technicians and customers.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the parts inventory and ensure it is well-organized and properly stocked to meet customer and service needs.
- Work closely with the service department to ensure availability of necessary parts, enhancing overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies for inventory control, parts purchasing, and cost management.
- Supervise parts staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Enhance and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Address customer inquiries and provide exceptional service to ensure repeat business.
- Utilize technology to improve parts department operations, including inventory management systems and ordering software.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in a parts management role within the automotive industry is preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive parts, accessories, and components, with the ability to identify and source parts efficiently.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead a team, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate staff to achieve goals.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with automotive parts catalog software and computer systems.
