POSITION PROFILE

Engineering Sales Representative

Dallas, Texas

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will call on and work with Engineering firms across N Texas

GOALS

Increase percentage of bids received specifying Bartos products. (Basis of Design) through effective engagement with Building Owners and Consulting Engineers.

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction ratings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer / Market Engagement
    • Establish and strengthen relationships with Owners and Consulting Engineering firms to develop an outstanding working relationship of trust and technical competence.
    • Interface with Estimating and Commercial, Industrial and Control Sales engineers to coordinate project opportunities.
    • Coordinate with Manufacturer Rep partners to inform / educate engineers on products and services through joint sales calls, lunch & learns and factory trips.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Engineering Salesperson will be a strong influencer with a high sense of urgency. More specifically, the candidate will possess the following skills and experiences:

Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC experience in engineering, contracting, or HVAC product sales.

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or Industrial engineering preferred.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to professionally work with and manage strong and diverse personalities.
  • Effective sales & prospecting skills
  • High Emotional IQ - Relationship building skills.
