The Hobart Filler Metals Key Account Customer Care Representative will focus on key accounts while working directly with the Sales and Divisional teams to assure strong retention rates by providing an overall customer experience that exceeds expectations. This role will require overnight travel (15%).

  • Serve as the single source contact with targeted customers and key accounts ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality proactive customer service through consistent reliable delivery and updates of product.
  • Work closely with the ITW Welding Sales Team and Hobart division to minimize and/or resolve issues while also creating an overall proactive approach to an excellent customer experience, creating customer loyalty to the Hobart brand.
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure lead times, alternate product recommendations, quality expectations, order changes, etc. can be communicated and delivered.
  • Facilitate business reviews for assigned key accounts.
  • Understands and manages account inventory requirements and order patterns.
  • Assure timely invoicing, accurate customer sensitive analysis to Corporate / Field Organization regarding Service Product processing and problem resolution (pricing, adjustments, cancellations, reinstatements, invoicing/re-invoicing, quotes, inventory maintenance, etc.)
  • Work directly with Sales Team and Product Managers to set-up and maintain pricing strategies.
  • Efficiently communicate customer requirements to the field selling organization and Hobart division.
  • Work with customer and credit to resolve any financial situations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service through professional communication (phone, emails and collaboration with team members.
  • In person contact with key customer accounts as needed (minimum annually) (travel required)
  • Other duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of related experience or Associate with 5 years of related experience preferred or be obtained within 5 years or 3 years respectively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products to include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Experience with ITW Toolbox.
  • Experience with MS D365
  • Experience creating training materials for new/improved processes/procedures.
