JOB SUMMARY


As a Senior Leader of the Account/Relationship Management team focusing on Home Improvement Contractors you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a team dedicated to managing client accounts and fostering strong relationships to drive business growth and ensure client satisfaction. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing employees, developing effective strategies, and executing initiatives within a B2B2C context, specifically catering to contractors in the Home Improvement industry.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Team Leadership:

  • Provide strong leadership to a team of account managers, ensuring they are motivated, engaged, and equipped with the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment where employees feel empowered to contribute ideas and drive innovation.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions to support employee development and growth.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Home Improvement Contractors, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic discussions, issue resolution, and account management.
  • Collaborate closely with the account management team to understand contractor needs, challenges, and objectives, and develop tailored solutions to address them.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to add value to contractor partnerships through innovative offerings, services, or initiatives.

Strategy Development:

  • Work closely with senior management to develop and implement comprehensive account management strategies tailored to the unique needs of Home Improvement Contractors.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, competitor research, and customer feedback collection to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and execute initiatives aimed at driving contractor engagement, loyalty, and long-term business success.

Business Development:

  • Lead efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Home Improvement Contractor segment, leveraging existing relationships and industry expertise.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement cross-selling and upselling strategies to maximize revenue potential and expand market share.
  • Participate in contractor meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure new partnerships and drive business growth.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of account management activities and employee performance.
  • Regularly monitor team performance against established goals and objectives and provide timely feedback and support as needed.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within account management, relationship management, or sales (experience with Consumer Lending is a plus)
  • Proven track record of effectively managing employees, fostering team collaboration, and driving performance excellence.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Strong understanding of the Home Improvement industry, including market dynamics, customer segments, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
