Overall Position Purpose

The Director of Customer Portfolio Marketing position exists to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive product adoption, increase certifications, and improve customer retention business among healthcare professionals, hospitals, health systems, and medical schools. This position serves as the strategic architect of customer engagement initiatives, leveraging insights and market trends to position our products effectively and enhance customer experiences across various channels. By fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners this role will play a pivotal role in driving growth and maximizing the impact of our offerings in the healthcare industry, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes and organizational success. The Director of Customer Portfolio Marketing will promote and support the Inteleos culture of inclusivity.


Core Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to develop and execute customer marketing strategies targeting physicians, sonographers, healthcare professionals, hospitals, health systems, and medical schools to increase certifications and drive product adoption;
  • Collaborate with product teams to understand and translate product features, benefits, and value into compelling messaging and positioning for target audiences;
  • Lead the development of omni-channel marketing programs, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing, webinars, events, and other channels, to effectively reach and engage target customers;
  • Create and manage customer segmentation strategies to tailor marketing messages and programs to specific customer segments and personas;
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategies and tactics;
  • Partner with business development teams to develop sales enablement tools and materials, including sales presentations, collateral, and training resources, to support customer engagement and conversion;
  • Partner with the Customer Experience (CX) division to conduct market & CX research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights within the healthcare professional community;
  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of customer marketing programs and campaigns, and adjust strategies and tactics as needed to optimize performance and drive results;
  • Lead a team of portfolio customer marketing professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to drive team performance and achieve departmental goals;
  • Manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), professional associations, and industry partners to drive advocacy and endorsement of our products within the sonographer community;
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to support the execution of marketing programs and initiatives as needed;
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the healthcare professional segment, and incorporate relevant insights into portfolio marketing strategies and initiatives;
  • Implement personalized marketing strategies and customer engagement programs to increase long-term loyalty and reduce churn among existing customers to achieve significant improvements in the retention rates of certificants;
  • Enhance the lifetime value of existing customers by developing and executing retention strategies that deepen customer relationships and increase the frequency and value of repeat certifications;
  • Direct all areas of the Student/Educator Program operations, efforts and initiatives while ensuring that organizational liability is mitigated, including but not limited to school reports, Registry Reports, Notes for Educators, achievement campaigns (SPI), liaison to the academic community, collateral materials/website content and database management; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

The incumbent will work at a desk in an office environment or an approved remote location. This position may require evening and weekend hours, as well as occasional travel. There are minimal requirements to lift or move equipment.

Requirements:

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Certification in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience in related field;
  • Minimum of eight years focus on customer marketing and/or healthcare marketing;
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a management role; and
  • Project management experience in a multi-project environment.

Required Qualifications/ Skills

  • Experience building effective digital marketing strategies, with a good eye for design and a strong understanding of what it means to design a customer experience;
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful customer marketing strategies and programs that drive product adoption and revenue growth;
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing principles and strategies, with experience targeting healthcare professionals, hospitals, health systems, and medical schools preferred;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and ideas to diverse audiences;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze market trends, and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies and tactics;
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team of professionals, with the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other marketing technologies; and
  • Passion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes through innovative marketing strategies and initiatives.
