Job Description

We're looking for an outgoing, performance-driven FOH leader who can teach our culture to a team that you will build from day one. The candidate we are looking for will have over one year of experience leading an FOH team in the full-service restaurant business. Bring us your talent and willingness to help us build Himes into Brandon's #1 breakfast restaurant and grow with us

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Excellence: Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service. Ensure all guests are greeted warmly, seated promptly, and attended to with genuine friendliness.
  • Team Management: Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, including hosts, servers, and bussers. Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • Operations Oversight: Manage daily front-of-house operations, including guest wait times and service flow. Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues efficiently and courteously. Turn negative experiences into positive ones whenever possible.
  • Staff Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours while balancing staff needs and availability.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage front-of-house supplies, including tableware, linens, and other essential items. Place orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all front-of-house operations comply with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Front of House Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume breakfast or brunch setting.
  • Customer-Centric: A passion for customer service with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Communication: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
