The Sales Executive is a key role within a cross functional Sales and Marketing Team reporting into the Director of Sales and Marketing. This role will be responsible for the direct sales of the virtual reality attraction, Hyperdeck.


Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify and target potential customers through various methods, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
    • Qualify leads and create opportunities through prospecting and lead generation activities.
  • Product:
    • Become an product expert in our products and Virtual Reality space.
  • Sales Presentation:
    • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of products to prospective customers.
    • Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and pain points of each customer.
  • Sales Negotiation and Closing:
    • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with customers to secure sales agreements.
    • Close sales deals and achieve or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
    • Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
    • Work closely with the Marketing team to develop a go to market strategy
  • Reporting and Administration:
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM software.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
    • Provide and implement company pricing policies along with aiding in A/R when needed.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and other internal stakeholders to align sales efforts within company goals.
    • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

  • Computers, projectors, printers, etc.

Working Environment:

  • Office/Manufacturing environment
Requirements:

Education/Training:

  • Post High School education with study in Business or Sales preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer facing sales and account management.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Computer skills - MS Office – PowerPoint and Excel expertise a plus
  • Customer care and growth mindset are key attributes to the position.
  • Results Oriented – attentive to the results and performance of the plan and a focus on exceeding goals.
  • Interpersonal Confidence – ability to relate and connect to a diverse group of people; internally, at our customers, community and markets we serve.
  • Excellent Oral/Written Communication – Knows how to present ideas effectively and persuasively; has a strong written and verbal presence; can convey concepts in a wide variety of forums.
  • Capable of resolving escalating issues arising from operations and requires coordination with other departments including but not limited to parts and service, product development, accounting, and marketing.

Travel Requirements:

  • A valid and active driver’s license is required for this position.
  • Travel will be at least 50% of the time.
