OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for executing Fulton’s business plan to increase sales of a wide range of hydronic products and solutions.
Working with stakeholders such as architects, specifying engineers and manufacturing representatives to ensure successful application of Fulton products, the successful candidate will enjoy working in a team environment and have a high level of self-motivation.
This position will collaborate with multiple departments including Research and Development, Product Management, Application Engineering, Sales & Marketing and After Market to increase profitability and create long-term value for Fulton.
The Sales Engineer must represent and promote Fulton companies, products and services in a manner that is consistent with the company values and operating philosophy.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Identify market opportunities to develop and increase sales.
- Engage in the market to develop a high level of understanding of all market aspects in the application of Fulton’s existing and future zero and ultra-low emission hydronic products.
- Be able to persuasively articulate to all stakeholders; architects, engineers, owners, contractors, manufacturing representatives etc Fulton’s hydronic solutions, and expand the market opportunity.
- Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns designed to raise market share position in the various hydronic markets that Fulton actively, or desires to, participate in.
- Train and develop Fulton staff, representatives and other stakeholders to ensure the successful application engineering, installation, start up and operation of hydronic products and systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of heat pump and or chiller application engineering advantageous but not necessary.
- Knowledge of hydronic products and systems
- Familiarly with building management systems
- Engineering Degree
- Ideally 5 years relevant experience in the HVAC industry

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Travel – Work requires travel by car or airplane and includes extended periods of sitting. Significant national travel will be required.
- Sitting – The body is supported by buttocks and back and employees needs to remain seated for extended periods of time.
- Vision – visual acuity to perform an activity such as analyzing data and viewing a computer terminal.
- Walking – Moving about on foot to travel and accomplish tasks, including long distances or site to site.
