POSITION OVERVIEW

In support of the Department Air Force (DAF) Rapid Capabilities Office (RCO) Field Support Unit (FSU), this position will provide professional training and development services. DAF RCO-FSU offers unique capabilities and resources to support the U.S. Government and DoD Agencies in exploring technology concepts and to help resolve other technology challenges.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in administering an organization-wide training program for AFRCO-FSU.
  • Schedule, monitor, track, and report statistics on mandatory Government training and mentoring events and classes for Government personnel.
  • Administratively prepare for organizational developmental training and monitor, track, and report on Government developmental training tasking.
  • Coordinate Government training requests and requirements for Government personnel.
  • Administratively support the AFRCO-FSU Human Resource Office on developing career training plans for Government employees.
  • Support the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP), Intelligence Analyst (IA) Certifications, and other required certifications for the DAF RCO-FSU by assisting in identifying qualifications and processing certification applications.
  • Maintain and reconcile local certification databases and other applicable records.
  • Provide information on Continuous Learning Program (CLP) requirements for APDP in the learning management systems (LMSs) and other required systems for intelligence analysis (IA) or other certifications.
  • Support travel and Government travel card paperwork and reporting. Provide travel planning and booking support.
  • Support organization calendars and event planning.
  • Support video teleconferencing (VTC) connections and meeting scheduling (non-technical only).
  • Write processes and procedures for contract continuity book.
  • Write memoranda as needed.
  • Assist as needed with picking up, sorting, and delivering incoming mail from the Official Mail Center (OMC).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working with DoD training programs.
  • Ability to track 100+ training records.
  • Bachelor's degree or an additional 4 years of experience.
  • TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working with Learning Management Systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in the development of career training plans.
  • Knowledge of the Acquisition Professional Development Program and Intelligence Analyst Certifications.
