Position: Technical Trainer (Semiconductor)

Overview:
This role is dedicated to providing comprehensive training on Level 1 semiconductor equipment and modules for both employees and clients. The position involves the creation and delivery of maintenance training courses aligned with industry standards on customer equipment. Collaboration with the Corporate Academy team is essential for developing and documenting new training topics.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an associate's or bachelor's degree coupled with over 5 years of experience in the installation and repair of semiconductor or electronic production machinery.
  • Extensive knowledge in the operation and upkeep of semiconductor manufacturing equipment or similar systems.
  • Proficient in English with strong organizational, communication, and instructional skills, along with high interpersonal abilities.
  • Preferred experience or education in a training capacity within a technical setting.
  • Ability to assess and qualify maintenance personnel based on established industry standards and on-site challenges.
  • Familiarity with customer equipment and processes is crucial.
  • Facilitates a unified understanding and operational procedures among technicians.
  • Willingness to adhere to cleanroom protocols and work within the fab/cleanroom environment for a significant portion of the time.
  • Experience in performing the majority of the responsibilities outlined below is required.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training to internal and external clients on proprietary equipment.
  • Provide technical support for local training apparatus.
  • Plan and prepare technical courses tailored for both internal and external audiences.
  • Manage and monitor course completions and gather customer feedback through our learning management system.
  • Develop training materials based on local challenges and operational issues.
  • Coordinate updates to training content with the Documentation team and assist in the formulation of new procedures.
  • Track all Field Service Engineer (FSE) training and establish module training for new FSEs as necessary.
  • Assess the on-site knowledge of FSEs and devise additional training plans if required.
  • Work independently while mentoring and providing technical guidance to on-site FSEs.
  • Stay informed about new equipment and software features, occasionally supporting service and installations at various customer locations.
