We are hiring a Program Compliance Specialist for one of our clients in Trenton, NJ.
Job Description:
- Reviewing and approving initial and renewal applications, modifications, and change requests from providers for the Eligible Training Provider List and to become Private Career Schools
- Documenting activity and communicating with providers and other unit staff through IGX
- Adhering to the NJDOL regulations on private career schools and to Training Evaluation Unit goals, policies, and procedures.
- Providing technical assistance and training to Training Providers and Local workforce Areas that contract with training providers.
- The Training Evaluation Unit (TEU) within the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development is responsible for reviewing and approving private career schools in collaboration with the Department of Education and maintaining the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL).
- In New Jersey, only ETPL providers may receive state or federal training dollars.
Skills required:
- Ability to learn new systems
- Ability to navigate complexity
- Sound decision-making skills
- Ability to carry out business-like communication with providers
- Openness to asking questions when any procedure or function isn't clear
