The Office Coordinator has overall administrative responsibility of a smaller CMA Practice (3 or less FTE providers - single site) or supporting a practice manager in a larger practice. Promotes the organization's philosophy of excellent customer service and high quality
care. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a health care setting preferred.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees day-to-day front end operations (i.e. call volumes, scheduling, access,
    templates, customer service, waiting room, staffing)
  • Provides supervision to scheduling and reception staff. Provide matrix supervision of
    medical records staff.
  • Provides continual, thorough review of provider schedules throughout the day to ensure
    that each appointment slot is filled appropriately, optimizing provider productivity.
  • Provides a first and second level escalation for patients who are unsatisfied with the
    appointment they were provided, to find creative solutions to these issues and/or
    effectively manage the patient's expectations.
  • Provides initial and ongoing training to schedulers and front desk staff in excellent
    customer service and monitor their performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 year medical office experience required.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing helpful
  • Completion of medical terminology course preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Reaching-- 20%
  • Computer work-- 40%

Compensation Disclosure:

  • $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
