  • Position Summary
    • The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for driving and supporting process improvement initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, analyzing operations, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency. The specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the achievement of operational excellence.
  • Responsibilities
    • Sustain and improve on safety, environmental, and quality policies, processes, and procedures
    • Communicates and exemplifies the company’s continuous improvement system philosophy, vision, and expectations to build a culture of continuous improvement across all downhole pump shops
    • Acts as a change agent to all shops and levels of leadership to challenge processes, propose ideas and drive change
    • Design, maintain, and improve processes that improve performance, reduce costs, and increase quality while clearly communicating goals and control plans to downhole pump shops and shop personnel
    • Provide coaching individuals and teams in conducting daily tiered meeting and applying effective problem solving using the appropriate problem-solving tools such as 4C, A3, DMAIC, etc.
    • Develops employee training and development on lean manufacturing concepts and culture throughout the different pump shops
  • Essential Characteristics
    • Analytical Skills – strong ability to analyze data and processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
    • Project Management Skills – experience in managing projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
    • Attention to Detail – Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and process documentation. Ability to identify small issues that could lead to larger problems if not addressed.
    • Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, present findings, and lead training sessions. Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Collaboration & Teamwork – Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Openness to feedback and willingness to incorporate input from others.
    • Leadership & Influence – Capability to lead improvement initiatives and influence others to embrace change. Ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving common goals.
  • Requirements
    • Education and Training: Demonstrated knowledge in related Continuous Improvement categories
    • Experience: At least 1-3 years’ experience in process improvement, continuous improvement or change management roles. LSSGB or LSSBB preferred
    • Project management experience with aptitude for being a self-starter, strong attention to detail and capable of managing multiple initiatives at once
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
    • Experience in manufacturing, production, or similar operational environments is preferred.
